2014

Once the summer arrives & I'm not spending majority of my time networking online or typing away my essays and reports, I will return with more nail-art!

Enjoy my current posts in the meantime. I have not forgotten this blog :)

Lilac Love

Don't worry I'm still kicking around.
This is Do You Lilac It? by OPI. I added a few roses to accent the nails :)

I did these quite a while ago! The next ones I still have one.
I didn't get a chance to upload them until now, after four days wear, they still look like the first day, with very minor and barely noticable tip wear. This is Lilacism (95% sure :s) by Essie.

Speed of Life - Misa

I haven't posted in forever, but I'm still around. I unfortunately just haven't had the chance to take pictures of my nail art that I have been doing for the past while. That being said, I managed to take a picture this time. For this nail art I was inspired by bindis. If you aren't aware of what that is, it's a decorative piece that Indian's wear on their forehead. They range from being a representation of your status (ex married) to what sometimes I use to wear to weddings as an added "jewelry". If you look up decorative bindi on Google you will see how detailed some can be! I didn't go quite as beautiful as they get but I managed to get the idea:

Overall this took about 3 careful coats! Although, this did work better than my other orange I have by OPI which took up to 4 coats.

MIA moment again

Alright usually I title things according to the nail polish I used, but ha funny story actually (not at all) I did these in November and I'm posting them now they could possibly be the China Glaze - For Audrey because I got my hands on those around the time I did these. Not 100% sure on that though! Onto the picture that I took:
I actually did these for a fashion show that my sisters program was doing! I'll probably upload those photos on my other blog.

Alright so onto the next one I did for New Years! I'll have to go back to get the names of these colours I used for this:

CG Fuchsia

I did this one a while ago but seeing as it has been a month of not posting, it was time..

These were all taken with flash indoors:

I used China Glaze Fuchsia & Fairy Dust. As well as Color Club Worth the Risque I believe.

Vampire Lips

Last post for today I promise!
With Halloween down the corner, I had to some sort of nail art. Keep in mind my time was limited (aka I was doing this at 11pm when I should have been sleeping for early classes the next day), so I had to come up with a design that was simple & fast.. results?

Floral & Turquoise

In this nail art I used China Glaze's For Audrey, which I finally (& sadly) just got! It was hiding in the store and it looked like someone had tried it (unfortunately very messily :@), but I was desperate for this colour. Not only is it by China Glaze, it's the best turquoise out of all I've tried. It was also fun to add some fun floral style to it. I always see people with floral patterns on their nails & I had been meaning to try it out myself!

Westside Warrior & CC HOLO

I had done this look a while back & I completely forgot to upload it for you guys!
I am using Westside Warrior in the Metro collection by China Glaze. I'm pretty sure this is Revvvolution by Color Club. I ordered other "Holo's" by them & overall they were quite pretty but I don't think they are as Holo as they could be! To the pics?

 No Flash:
Westside Warrior can be done in one coat, but only if you are careful (my index finger...not so careful).

Electric Pineapple Print

It feels like forever since I lasted officially did some sort of nail art. I have yet to try out my Misa - Heaven White polish. I must say, I am not at all use to a full white polish nail without adding some sort of art to it. I also really wanted to try out my "Electric Pineapple" by China Glaze, but I was a little unsure of how it would look on my nails by itself. So, I decided to do an Electric Pineapple Leopard Print. Results:

Heaven White can take one coat, if done properly, but you get the best results with two coats.
