Lilac Love

Don't worry I'm still kicking around.
This is Do You Lilac It? by OPI. I added a few roses to accent the nails :)

I did these quite a while ago! The next ones I still have one.
I didn't get a chance to upload them until now, after four days wear, they still look like the first day, with very minor and barely noticable tip wear. This is Lilacism (95% sure :s) by Essie.

Mermaid Tears - Strips

I was getting bored of my stash of polishes and I'm still waiting on my nail mails :D!! So.. I do what every desperate girl in need of a new polish colour does... borrows from her sister..

My sister manage to get her hands on some of the Pirates of The Caribbean collection; mermaid tears being one of them. This polishes if done properly only needs one coat! But that's because I've been using a lot more on brush. It would be opaque with 2 coats. I decided to add a label "Opaque" so it makes it easier. I tend to like when I see that people put the amount of coats when they review nail polishes. It's a huge money saver because I only like nailpolish with complete opaqueness...:\. ONTO THE PICS!

No Flash & Compared to Mint Candy Apple

I'm excited for my nail wheels to come in the mail. You will no longer have to suffer looking at my short nails for polish swipes. Plus it would be way easier to compare polishes :)

The "It" Color failure/unfailure.

Today my nails started as a fail but I think in the end it worked out (a little messy, but still acceptable to wear out). I tried doing a miss match combo.. hugeee fail. So I decided to go back to doing something I did months ago. Unfortunately the yellow (aka The "It" Color by OPI) had not the best quality & the white nail polish had the worst (it's by Rimmel for a manicure set). So, this was kind of messy and I hope to do it sometime in the future. It still looks cool though right :p?

The failed miss-match look I did minutes before the above one:

Lavender & Black Crackle

In this I used Lucky Lucky Lavender by OPI and the black crackle from Nicole by OPI. I also added Katy Perry's Teenage Dream to my thumb and ring finger :)! I think right now my favourite polish colour is Lucky Lucky Lavender. It reminds me of Mod About You (previous favourite polish colour) but it's lavender instead of pink! onto the mani!

In the above picture the bottle captures the colour the best. The picture below my nails capture the colour the best.

Blue Glitter Night

Okay.. so not the most creative title! But it definitely describes my nails.
I used:
OPI - Teal the Cows Come Home (Brights Collection) & Last Friday Night (Katy Perry's Collection)
GOSH - 594 Miss Grey
Icing - Force of Love (part of a duo polish which I mentioned here)

These nailpolishes were really hard to capture! That might be partially due to the horrible lighting for this. I wouldn't be surprised if I use the nailpolishes in the future and maybe it will be better then.  I noticed that Last Friday Night is suspiciously similar to Nicole by OPI polishes mentioned here. I will have to do some swatching side by side to see!

 (Flash for the next ones)
Force of love is the second and fourth nail. The second nail only has one coat and as you can see it was difficult to put on evenly. You have to be super careful with this polish. The fourth nail has 3 coats.
The pinky has Last Friday Night (one coat) on.
Force of Love has some green sparkles but mostly is blue with a black/dark navy colour as the base.

OPI lavender & gold

I really wish my nails would grow. I might have to get a manicure done soon and just paint over it. Short nails drive me crazy! The chemicals where I work eat away my nails so it's hard to keep it long. :(! Once I get my nails done, I think it will make the swatches and nail art 10x better!
So, I got my wisdom teeth tooken out (just two on the bottoms). I look like a chipmunk right now & the temp. is 40 degrees + (Celsius) aka unbeliveable. Since, I'm stuck in the house, might as well do my nails?:)

This is Gliterzland & it took 2 coats. It went on perfectly and dried quick!

The glitter was gooey. But, it is definitely worth it! One of my favourite glitter polishes.Lucky Lucky Lavender took two coats. I think I might have grabbed an old bottle because it was thick and difficult.. so unlike OPI.

These were taken with flash but it really shows the glitter off well!

What I used:
Sephora by OPI: Only Gold For Me ($12 CDN)
OPI: Lucky Lucky Lavender & Glitzerland ($9.95 CDN)

Leopard Night

I did this nail art last week but I didn't get a chance to post it until now!

with flash.
What was used:
OPI - My Private Jet
Essie- Mambo & Chinchilly
Nicole - Make U Smile (The One Less Lonely Girl Collection)
Nail Art Pens (which I forget what brand I used.. I don't notice a huge difference with the brands)

Paint My Moji-Toes Red OPI

This one only took two coats! I give it a 5/5.. really can't see anything wrong with it especially since it dried within 5 minutes.

I really like this glitter because it isn't too much. It's just enough for the nail polishes that need to be 'spiced-up' a bit.

Japense Rose Garden OPI

OPI's Japense Rose Garden has got to be one of my favourites. Can you see the little hint of shimmer?  And you can get away with doing one coat. Some of the nails shown above have one coat some have two. Notice the difference? To tell you the truth I forgot which one had only one! Impressive huh? Oh and it only took 10 minutes (at max.) to dry :)! A pleasure wearing you OPI. Indeed it is. So I guess 5/5 rating! The very last image does not show the true colour. The first image shows it the best.

Mint Candy Apple & Black Onyx

Perhaps my favourite colour combo yet. I had done this exact look with Essie's Chinchilly instead of Mint Candy Apple. Both Mint Candy Apple and Black Onyx only took two coats! I tried doing it with tape at first but it started to peel off my nail polish & it wasn't giving the neatest lines.
