Mermaid Tears - Strips

I was getting bored of my stash of polishes and I'm still waiting on my nail mails :D!! So.. I do what every desperate girl in need of a new polish colour does... borrows from her sister..

My sister manage to get her hands on some of the Pirates of The Caribbean collection; mermaid tears being one of them. This polishes if done properly only needs one coat! But that's because I've been using a lot more on brush. It would be opaque with 2 coats. I decided to add a label "Opaque" so it makes it easier. I tend to like when I see that people put the amount of coats when they review nail polishes. It's a huge money saver because I only like nailpolish with complete opaqueness...:\. ONTO THE PICS!

No Flash & Compared to Mint Candy Apple

I'm excited for my nail wheels to come in the mail. You will no longer have to suffer looking at my short nails for polish swipes. Plus it would be way easier to compare polishes :)

Lavender & Black Crackle

In this I used Lucky Lucky Lavender by OPI and the black crackle from Nicole by OPI. I also added Katy Perry's Teenage Dream to my thumb and ring finger :)! I think right now my favourite polish colour is Lucky Lucky Lavender. It reminds me of Mod About You (previous favourite polish colour) but it's lavender instead of pink! onto the mani!

In the above picture the bottle captures the colour the best. The picture below my nails capture the colour the best.

Mamba -Essie

I really like this one because it dries super fast and only needs 2 coats :) It also has a bit of shimmer but it's not that noticeable.

With Flash(which captures the colour the best):

Right hand, I made a mistake so a rose-like decoration to cover it up :)

Flirty Orly

I am soo happy to finally get this nailpolish! It is the perfect pink & it only needs one coat! How amazing is that? The only problem is you need a top coat, but that's not much of a problem at all!

I decided to add some gems and a feather. I should have added a lot more feathers but I wanted to admire the colour itself. I put on topcoat here.

Golden Dragon GOSH

I cannot decide if this polish is green or blue. It's green indoors and blue outdoors. Either way there's shimmer and gold in it! A beautiful mix. I must say, GOSH has the best quality of nail polish I have used. But, I've only tried this one! I am so amazed on how easy it was to apply. I didn't have to wait for the first coat to dry before I went to the second coat. I did one nail at a time with the amount of coats it needed. It takes two coats. I rate this nailpolish 5/5... there really is NOTHING wrong with it :)!

OPI lavender & gold

I really wish my nails would grow. I might have to get a manicure done soon and just paint over it. Short nails drive me crazy! The chemicals where I work eat away my nails so it's hard to keep it long. :(! Once I get my nails done, I think it will make the swatches and nail art 10x better!
So, I got my wisdom teeth tooken out (just two on the bottoms). I look like a chipmunk right now & the temp. is 40 degrees + (Celsius) aka unbeliveable. Since, I'm stuck in the house, might as well do my nails?:)

This is Gliterzland & it took 2 coats. It went on perfectly and dried quick!

The glitter was gooey. But, it is definitely worth it! One of my favourite glitter polishes.Lucky Lucky Lavender took two coats. I think I might have grabbed an old bottle because it was thick and difficult.. so unlike OPI.

These were taken with flash but it really shows the glitter off well!

What I used:
Sephora by OPI: Only Gold For Me ($12 CDN)
OPI: Lucky Lucky Lavender & Glitzerland ($9.95 CDN)

Paint My Moji-Toes Red OPI

This one only took two coats! I give it a 5/5.. really can't see anything wrong with it especially since it dried within 5 minutes.

I really like this glitter because it isn't too much. It's just enough for the nail polishes that need to be 'spiced-up' a bit.

Do You Lilac It?

Two easy coats is all you need for this nail polish. I added some stars to it so it wouldn't look too plain.

Mesmerize Essie

This only took 2 coats altogether! I also used Icing's shatter which costed me $6.25(CDN)
